Privacy Policy

This policy explains what solesolution Inc (“we”) collects when you use CrispDock for Zebra, crispdock.com and your CrispDock account, and why. We collect as little as we can, and we don’t sell personal information.
Your labels stay on your Mac
CrispDock converts and prints labels locally. The documents and labels you print are never sent to us.
What we collect
- Email address — when you buy a licence or sign in to your account. We use it to send your licence key, sign-in links and receipts, and to answer support requests.
- Purchase records — plan, amounts, dates, and the Stripe customer, subscription and payment IDs. Card details are handled by Stripe; we only ever see the last four digits. The campaign tag or referring site you arrived through (see “Anonymous counts”) is kept with the purchase.
- Activated Macs — when you activate a licence: a one-way hash of the Mac’s hardware ID (never the ID itself), the Mac’s name, the CrispDock version, and when it was activated and last checked in. This enforces the one-Mac-per-key limit and lets you see and remove Macs in your account.
- Anonymous counts — the website counts visits and downloads per day, and the app’s update checks are counted per day, to see which pages and links bring people in. A count only records the page, the referring site or campaign tag (such as
utm_source) and, for update checks, the CrispDock version — no cookies, no IP addresses, nothing that identifies you or your Mac. - Sign-in security — when you request a sign-in link we keep a keyed hash of your IP address to limit abuse, and we keep your browser’s user-agent with your sign-in session so you can recognise it.
The account page uses one cookie to keep you signed in. The website remembers your language choice in your browser, and the campaign tag of the link you arrived through for as long as the tab is open; it doesn’t use cookies, third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions and invoices (Stripe privacy policy).
- Cloudflare — hosting for crispdock.com and api.crispdock.com, and forwarding of email sent to our addresses.
- Resend — sending licence and sign-in emails.
- Google Fonts — crispdock.com serves its own fonts, but the account and purchase pages on api.crispdock.com load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when those pages load.
How long we keep it
We keep licence and purchase records for as long as your licence exists and as required for tax and accounting. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes; sign-in sessions after 30 days.
Your choices
You can see your licences, payments and Macs in your account and remove Macs there. To get a copy of your data, correct it or have it deleted, email cs@crispdock.com. We may need to keep payment records the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top.
